The RAAMC Association commissioned this painting by by Sydney War Artist Martin Campbell with a view to have it hung in a significant place where members, past members of the RAAMC and members of the public, in particular, the surviving members of veterans, could view and enjoy it. The painting was presented to the RAAMC in November 2009 at the RAAMC Conference. It was accepted by the former Head of Corps RAAMC, Brigadier Tony Gill. The painting currently hangs in it’s temporary home in the Army Logistics Sergeants’ Mess Bandiana. Negotiations are currently in place to have the painting hung in a significantly important place. As these negotiations are sensitive, the location of this place cannot be divulged. Click here to read more and how to order.
